How long how long..
anyways, August since I last posted here.. Has been that long? Wow.. Oh well..
Kwento muna siguro..
I enjoyed my about a month and a half time off from work.. I guess I needed that to
recharge.. Took a really good vacation in Palawan.. Very beautiful place.. Sobrang
linis..and my God if you are a nature lover, this is heaven for you.. dun pa lang
ako nakakita ng virgin beach.. I mean walang cottages or kung ano man, basta beach
then forest na sya.. hanep talaga.. Also went to underground river.. The longest
navigatable underground river in the world.. Too bad di ko pa ma upload mga pictures
that I took..
Im currently employed right now..yey! And I like the Company.. Good benefits and
they gave an offer thats very hard to refuse.. :kk3:
In house IT kami talaga. So walang clients to please..Just keep the business running..
So much for the update.. hehe..

Badtrip
I promised myself that I would not rant again about a job that I will be
taking/doing. But this time Im not going to rant about the job itself like
I usually do. lol
I just cant help it. See, I moved here to my new workplace because it is
my belief that I would be working abroad. Japan that is. Yes I did went
to Japan. Yes I did work there for more than 2 weeks and was sent back
here to start a project that we are doing right now. Before I came back
home, that was around late May of this year, I was told that I would be
staying here for at least 2 months tops. But viola, august is at its dying
stage yet Im still here. Im here for the last 3 months and havent heard
any word on when I will go back.
Hell, I even think they're plan is not to let me leave at least by the
year's end. wtf?!
How did I know this?
I stumble upon a file of my Japanese officemate of calendar working days
and my name is still there till the end of the year!
My oh my.. One thing that pisses me off is how they would promise a
thing and then not keep it. Specially with companies. That's one of the
reasons I resigned from my first job.
I took a paycut(Philippine based that is) to work here! I dont even have
benefits!
SSS, Phil Health, Health Insurance and the likes, when Im here in the
Philippines!
I knew that before and I accepted it because I knew back then that I will be
leaving soon. Im marked as an OFW who works in Pinas.
Amazing.
I guess its now time to talk to them on what is the real plan for me in
this company.
Honestly, I want to move out as early as now before I sink in deeper.

self proclaimed diva?!
Came across a name that made waves through the Filipino bloggers recently.
A self proclaimed diva named Malu Fernandez.
here's an excerpt from an article she wrote for People Asia Magazine.
However I forgot that the hub was in Dubai and the majority of the OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) were stationed there. The duty-free shop was overrun with Filipino workers selling cell phones and perfume. Meanwhile, I wanted to slash my wrist at the thought of being trapped in a plane with all of them.
While I was on the plane (where the seats were so small I had bruises on my legs), my only consolation was the entertainment on the small flat screen in front of me. But it was busted, so I heaved a sigh, popped my sleeping pills and dozed off to the sounds of gum chewing and endless yelling of “HOY! Kumusta ka na? At taga san ka? Domestic helper ka rin ba?” Translation: “Hey there? Where are you from? Are you a domestic helper as well?” I though I had died and God had sent me to my very own private hell.
On my way back, I had to bravely take the economy flight once more. This time I had already resigned myself to being trapped like a sardine in a sardine can with all these OFWs smelling of AXE and Charlie cologne while Jo Malone evaporated into thin air.
I am an OFW myself and it really hurts to be put down much less by a fellow Filipino.
I actually am preventing myself from commenting but I just couldn't help it.
Sure she has her rights as a journalist. I am not taking it from her. What it didn't seem right was to belittle us OFWs (or Filipinos below her socioeconomic status). It was never right to discriminate. There is no excuse for bigotry.
Whats wrong with using cheap perfumes? Whats wrong with greeting your kababayan with glee and joy on a plane? DAMMIT... WHAT?!?!
I read books thicker than a magazine but for the life of me, I still cannot appreciate her so-called acerbic wit.
Philippines is a third world country. people struggle to have a meal at least 3 times a day.. and some members of the family go abroad to support those who remain here. sacrificing everything, being far away from their loved ones so they could have a decent life.
Reality is, There is nothing FUCKING FUNNY ABOUT THAT!

Birthday Party
Last Aug4, It was my birthday and I have been so busy at work that I didnt have time to plan a party.. Well, I thought I just need my friends to be with me that day and drink beer to our heart's content..Which is we always do everytime a friend celebrates a birthday.. lol..
Anyways, Aug3, I spend the night at my girlfriend's house so that when I wake up, Im with her on my birthday.. yiiihhii.. So there, It started out with her and her family, had a great breakfast and then off we went to church to hopefully catch a mass but there wasnt one when we got to the chruch..
after the church, We proceded to go home to angeles to prepare something for the inuman sessions..
Went to the market to buy some fish and some small things that would suffice as pulutan.. lol..
around 6, my officemate texted me and said they are on thier way to our place.. which of course would take about 2hrs before they arrive.. he was with a japanese colleague whom I invited so that he would have an experience on how birthdays are celebrated here.. for the boys of course.. :D
Mom cooked some meal for dinner and just about time she finished when my officemates arrived and my bestfriend jomski along with his girlfriend..
after dinner, its inuman time.. chitchat with the japanese and friends..then one by one, barkadas are coming..
damn rain kept on disturbing our inuman session..we have to move one place to another in our frontyard to avoid it..lol
My barkadas kept on teasing the japanese.. haha! it was a laughing trip of inuman..
We finished around 4:30 and I have to take my officemates to the bus station..
got home around 5, wishwash and went to bed.. 7am my girlfriend woke me up for its time for her to home to..
took here to the bus station and then went home again and back to sleep..
had my cousins take care of cleaning up the mess we did.. hehehe.. so far, that all I can remember.. lol

WOW!! What a Ride!
Probably around 3 years ago, I came across the realization about life.. and how it should be lived..
well at least for me..
See, Im a person who dont believe in destiny.. I think its pretty boring if everything is pre-ordained..I have a tendency to believe that life should be full of surprises and the results of actions taken by a person are not "written" so to speak.. to quote a line from Aerosmiths' song, "life a journey, not the destination".. Im more inclined to believe in free will.. we were given that so its up to us how we should live our lives and how to make it favorable to us or how we would like to end it.. if there is such thing as destiny, are people who commit crimes(crimes against HIS rules and of the government), destined to do that on the day they were born? isnt out of circumstances or isnt out of choice of the person? he or she chose to be in that path.. wouldnt He be unfair if He written a life for a person to be destined that way?
I dont know, maybe its just me..
It is the sole purpose that I wrote this because I wanted to convince myself that I am responsible for my actions and none of that are predestined..
No, actually Im convinced.
Make the most of life.. love, laugh, cry..cause in the end, you can sum up your life by saying, "WOW!! What a Ride!"

Tired and sleepy..
yes, thats right.. thats what im feeling now.. yesterday of course theres work and I came from angeles since every weekend i go home.. need to wake up early to be able to be on time at the office..
8am that is.. left at around 5:45am I think and caught a bus 15mins later.. but since its monday, 2 hrs of travel is just not enough! damn traffic got me late for 45 fucking minutes! so naturally, Japanese people(or boss) are not fond of being late stuff.. though he did understand that, he kept telling me that it is not allowed.. yeah yeah i get it.. I worked for a japanese company before remember? lol
anyways, since it was also my mom's birthday yesterday, i still need to go back home after work.. and so i did.. only this time, waking up an hour earlier than yesterday to give buffer in case traffic hits me again.. waking up at 6 is way too early for my much less 4am! I was at the office already at around 7:20 and the office is still locked..great! I just took the liberty of catching a nap at the reception area and wait for some officemates to who has a key.. sheeshh..
Im really sleepy and tired..

Anything and Everything
Where do I start? ok, how about my current job.. Right now Im really frustrated. I moved here because I know I will be working abroad.. Japan that is.. Yup I did went to Japan for a couple of weeks to learn the new project where I will be assigned.. And then my boss told me after a month or two, I will go back.. So I thought that will be fine.. Little did I know that I will be assigned as a team lead(which is not a bad thing) and the project should be completed here.. The thing I get frustrated about is that this project would last until at least mid-october! So im stuck here at manila office until then.. I like the project.. I really do.. New PL to use and new technology to learn which is a huge challenge..Im up for it.. What Im frustrated about is that I do not get the chance to do this abroad which of course translates to a higher salary, health insurance and other benefits.. While here, I dont even have health care, they do not pay my social security and benefits that I have on my previous company! Its really ticking me off..Im planning to quit this early.. If they do not give me the benefits I deserve..
now, onto other things, Friday the 13th..that was last friday.. whats the fuzz all about? I really dont get it.. luckily I dont believe it along with some of my friends so we went out for dinner and couple of drinks then went home with my girlfriend.. Saturday was fun too.. I helped a japanese collegue look for softwares that we need at the office.. bought me a memory card for my phone which now I use as an mp3 player too..
Went home to angeles saturday night and found out that my grandpa is at the hospital, so the next day I went to visit him.. I think he's doing good now.. Thank God..
Played with my nephew too while I was there.. cute little bastard.. hehe..
I guess thats just about it for now..

Weekends and friends
Its weekend! yahoo! means no work tommorow.. no waking up at 5:30 in the morning.. lol..
Last week I was planning to have a dinner get together with some friends on a forum that I frequent but due to hectic workloads, I wasnt able to.. havent seen them for quite some time now and somehow I miss them.. They are one funny batch of individuals I tell you.. Some of them I really consider good friends.. To think that I just met them online is just amazing.. How many people can you say that become a very close friend, someone who you can just let it all out and still there to listen to you.. someone who accepts you, your antics, your idiocity and what not and still be there to laugh with you and trusts you with all they have.. very rare isnt it?
Anyways, enough of that.. I wanna go home to my hometown already..I also miss hanging out with my friends back there.. friends that I grew up with.. or should I say friends I grew old with since I didnt grew that much.. lol.. Friends who drink thier guts out whenever there's a party..or not.. Just us laughing and drinking til the wee hours of the morning..
I miss my nephew a whole lot too.. He could be a real pain in the neck somtimes but he's just so lovable..
Ja, mata ne..

superheroes
Did you ever wish your a superhero? I mean you know flying around saving people's lives and what not? Well, maybe not flying and saving everyone, just doing some acts of heroism? I know I did. Well actually, I think I cant do it as if its just my job, sans the title of the blog..
Too much cartoons and superhero movies make me think..I think I should stop watching those. lol.
Anyways, just saw Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer and I can say it rocks! I mean I love how they protrayed Galactus' herald... Sure it has loopholes on plot itself but c'mon, which superhero movie doesnt have one? It very much lived to my expectations at least.. Better than the first one for sure.. Some say its better than Spider-man 3 but I dont buy that too.. Those movies have good things in thier own right.. The only complain I got for Spider-man was about Venom.. His story was hurriedly done and hurriedly finished too! aside from that, I think it was a good 3rd time for Mr. Raimi..
Now I cant wait for Transformers The movie! seing Optimus Prime and Bumblebee on the big screen? what more can you ask for!

ok so probably the title doesnt fit. why? cause it means "first time" and this is not the first time i've created a blog. specifically here at blogspot :D
so, what's the best thing to post for starters? introduce me? nah. nobody's gonna read anyway so I think I'll just rant like an idiot here til words stop commin outta my brains.. thats a pretty good start..
New work for me. well not exactly new since its like my 2nd month here already but the surroundings are new.. new people to interact with.. new knowledge to gain.. Cant say I love it but I can get used to it. So as being used to writting blogs again.. haha! I wish.. ;)
